Although it has many therapeutic benefits, hot stone massage is contraindicated in certain cases, particularly during pregnancy. It is also not recommended if you suffer from diabetes or heart and respiratory issues. However, we offer other suitable massages that you can benefit from if you wish.
Procedure of the hot stone massage
The stones we use are basalt stones. Due to their high iron content, they can stay hot for about 45 minutes.
Before starting the massage, the therapist immerses the stones in water at 50 degrees Celsius.
Il The therapist then settles you comfortably and begins a relaxing massage to apply a soothing and relaxing essential oil to the targeted areas. Then, they gently place the hot stones on your back and use them, as needed, to press, knead, massage, or caress.
Our therapist also massages the legs and feet, then focuses on the various energy points of your body. To do this, they place hot stones between your toes, in the palm of your hand, and along the spine. By applying heat to these energy points, they are stimulated and released.
The massage therapist then invites you to lie on your back and repeats the hot stone massage.
